TROPICOMEDIA VIDEOWORX, headquartered in Austin, Texas was founded in 2009 by former ABC Television and Disney Studios film editor, Patrick D. Evans, to fill a need for affordable, professional, broadcast quality film and video production services geared toward the small to mid-sized business market, as well as small to mid-size productions for big business. Our client list includes Volkswagen, General Motors, Motown, Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures and more.

Truly professional cinematic-video production using motion picture quality equipment like motorized, remote pan and tilt heads, short and long haul cranes up to 35' (75' is available, but impractical for most non-motion picture productions); manual and motorized track and dolly systems, SteadiCam/GlideCam stabilizer systems, vehicle mount kits, Sony HDW-F900R CineAlta 24P HDCAM (this $100,000 monster is for high budget national television commercials and motion picture productions only), Canon XLH1a HD cameras (standard camera for our high end real estate video tours and many other productions including corporate videos, television and motion picture), Sony ENG HD Cameras, Underwater cameras, Sony action helmet and mini-HD-cams, cinematic DayLite lighting systems, 5.1/7.1 Tascam surround sound recording systems, event and documentary narration by former Los Angeles radio and motion picture personality and the voice of Hollywood film trailers, Damian Anthony, and all priced with the small to mid-size business production budget in mind! How do we do it?
The high cost associated with film and video production is primarily a result of the high cost of professional film and video equipment and high crew salaries. That high cost is passed on to the client.
The digital age and stiff equipment manufacturer competition has brought down the cost of professional video production equipment exponentially and introduced new state of the art digital equipment that renders results equivalent to or better than their high priced cousins, that still gives us the same professional and pristine results as the million dollar overkill alternatives, at a quarter of the inventory cost. And our highly skilled, normally high priced crew? Well, the five man core team are all part owners of the company!
We pass all of these savings on to our clients because we're able to produce ultra high quality film and video productions, using state of the art equipment, at a fraction of what it costs other production companies.
